Yeah...i'm getting engage soon with my Rangagas this saturday and I know I've been so bad for not updating my blog for almost half year! LOL ;p

Oh well...attach is the invitation to my close family and friends, you all are welcome to witness my engagement and Christmas open house at my grandma house in Tenghilan.

So easy to get there...after Tuaran just go straight using the road going to Kota Belud until you reach KG TENGHILAN, once you see Seven Adventist Church on your left side and Klinik Kesihatan Tenghilan on your right side, just before the bridge there is a road signage going to Kg Tenghilan Linsuk. Use the road and just drive straight...the only house with lots of people and white tent is my grandma house ;p

THE HAIRCUT

I've been complaining about my rangagas's hair getting longer and longer every weekend when I pakto pakto with him. So that Saturday afternoon...i brought him to this little barber shop in Tanjung Aru after lunch. Ian gets his haircut at the same shop....eheheheee now it's rangagas turn to get his as well. The next day, I had my haircut done too at A Cut Above in Karamunsing. Here are the shots taken from my humble mobile phone...yg cikai-cikai punya shots. Hope you all like it :)

One of our saturdays (4 Jul 09)... me and the boys were at Southern bakery in Damai, KK. I bought a birthday cake for my son Boboy & my eldest brother Bane for their combine birthday celebration at home. I have no choice but to celebrate my son birthday earlier due to my trip to Kuching falls on his birthday.

So while waiting for Shima (my ex-party planner in KFC, now working with Southern), I suggested to both of the boys for a drink coz I couldn't resist to have Southern's sardine bun and tuna puff...emmm so yummy... I end up having both buns + Boboy's left over egg sandwich! LOL

I've posted this a few weeks back in my facebook...it was a great Sunday afternoon with my Rangagas. I don't need a fancy dinner or a fancy place to hang out...I'm TelcaNuts...anything will do as long as I'm happy and able to have a quality time with my loved ones. We had lunch at one of the kopitiam in Tanjung Aru and went to the 3rd beach to look around for nice spot for photoshoot...Victor pointed at the rocks and suggested to start the shoot from there. It was quite breezy but HOT HOT HOT!!!

Finally I met someone who is excited to share my passion in photography though he's not really into it yet but at least he shows some interest...give us your feedback! cheers ;)

Karaoke Moment

Last Friday night about a week ago....I hang out with my eldest brother Bane and his fiance Teresa together with my uncle who recently got married - Meady, Teresa's brother and sister Tecla (almost like my name huh?) at J Borneo Native. Earlier, I had a long day training session with my colleagues then proceed to Pantai Cafe Lounge 15th anniversary party to check out the outlet's function night. Well that was part of my job...talk more about my work in separate blog ya? ;)

Well that night I need to finish off an assignment for my training the next morning and I know I won't be able to finish it at home bcoz I be sleepy by 10pm...tired worr... So when my bro asked me to joined them, I said YES straightaway!

It was my 2nd visit at JBorneo, the 1st time was in few months back in May during my uncle Meady's wedding (checkout:http://sabahinaction.blogspot.com/2009/06/foodcrave-local-way-of-celebrating.html) and I have recommended JBorneo to Bane & Teresa for their coming wedding reception in August 09. Both felt in love with JBorneo and become one of their favourite place to chill out....plus venue for their wedding too. Kiut bah kan? eheheee...

What I like most at J Borneo is the rustic ambiance of the bar, creative carvings and of course the owner of the place Mr Jivinsiol Mosoom and bar owner Hendree Ginibun who made us feel homey. J Borneo Native cafeteria only open from 8am to 5pm while bar open from 12noon to 12midnight. There's a pool table, karaoke, beers, few selected liqueurs i.e Chivas, Black Label etc... and limited BBQ items for night time as the kitchen closed by 5pm unless if there's pre-arrange dinner for function. As mentioned early in my joint blog with my friends a.k.a bestbiens- Jchin & Clara in sabahinaction.blogspot.com on JBorneo, the hall can accommodate up to 200 pax for caterings i.e weddings, anniversary party or family gatherings/birthday celebrations. In the pipeline, J Borneo Native Village will add on few more facilities such as all day dining cafe, chalet, swimming pool, conference & theatre rooms, spa and also driving rage.

Meet the love of my life! My Ian @ Boboy...

There's no secret at all that I'm a single mother for the past 6 years ago when Ian's dad decided to leave the family in 2003 and got married...Ian was about 3 years old that time. I never regret having all the past hurt as I'm actually glad that it was over and move on... My strength came from my son Ian, the only reason why I worked so hard all these years and it's a blessing to have him in my life, otherwise I really don't know what would I be doing...

Ian is like my own mirror...his character and personality almost same as mine, he can be very quiet sometimes but the moment he start talking, I feel like putting a duct tape over his mouth hahahaaa...he likes collecting ben10 or pokemon cards, PSP, robots, photography and junk food! He's a bit sarcastic too...which I really don't like and keep on reminding him to be NICE most of the time. He's a very cheerful boy...can be really notty but he's a bit emotional too and very sensitive. He got his own answer for all questions...try throw him any question, even if it's a stupid question, he can answer it :p

Ian will be 9 years old this coming July and he asked me to organised his birthday party at my grandma house. Despite busy with all the events and promotions at work, I'll definitely make sure that Ian's birthday bash a happening one! I've promised myself that whatever things that I never had during my childhood, I'll try my very best to give it to my Ian...

Rangagas...my childhood buddy

Meet my Rangagas...he's my childhood buddy and I had a crush with him since 1988....we used to be good friend but he suddenly stop talking with me. At first I can't remember what actually happen and he started telling me the whole story about what I did to him till he stop seing me. He told me that I accused him of stealing my slippers, slowly I started to recall back that particular moment...then I look at him and said, "Oiii you did hide my slippers that time!!!" I remember I end up going back to my grandma house barefooted and pissed from his house. He was so embarrased that time when I scolded him. Ever since that incident, we never talk...just hi and bye whenever we bump into each other for like 21 years?!! LOL...anyway, I met him during our uncle's wedding (hmmm yep we're actually related :p) but as usual we never talk that much...I was kinda shy actually (ye rite telca...duh) The wedding was awesome...everyone had heaps of fun and I was a bit tipsy by noon. To cut the story short, finally before I went back with my sis Tinny, out of sudden he came to me and we start talking.......all started from there on....looking forward to see him again over the weekend...there are so much things to catch up with my Rangagas ;)

I can feel the butterflies in my stomach....andak pls dun laugh...i know u wud! LOL :p

17th Crush Band Preview

Eeheheheee.....i would never forget this one...We had heaps of fun...laughing mad at each at other for no fucking reason. It was 1st night for 17th Crush performed at Rumba, that was the main reason why we were all there and got a bit disappointed with the songs collections that they played because it was not up to my expectation but not to blame them as I found out that before they came over to Rumba, they performed at one of the lounge in China (I think so) and most of the song collections are slow and easy old skool. Anyway, they getting better and better after that...I love it when they played all the alternatives songs and no doubt they're quite good. I didn't manage to watch their last performance before they left and I'm not going to step my foot at Rumba for the time being (i got issue with someone there)...can't wait for June...DB8 COMING BACK!!! YAY!!!!

I spotted these grapes at Andak's house last year, planted by her mom...it taste very sour and slightly bitter so I told Andak to harvest all the grapes and produce wine.. so she said, "Very funny moi, ko mo sia pijak-pijak for you too?" LOL (me & my silly thought...no wait, i'm just being telcanuts la la la) But looking at the grapes, it does look so yummy to me but it's not edible though...once I move to my new house, I want to plant grapes as well and make wine out of it LOL :p

I would say...this was the best New Year's Eve bash I ever had as I never celebrate it in this way apart from clubbing the all night long till midnite...I'm glad I didn't go to Rumba that night...I had heaps of fun with Andak's family though it was the first time I met most of them. It's sad that I only have 2 posts in my blog....lol! Oh gosssh...so many things need to update and i just don't have time to update my blog, even to update my Facebook & Flickr is a challenge for me...sigh (reli meh?) Anyway, yes I would try my best to at least update my blog twice a month. So what's new with Telcanuts? I left hotel industry for about almost 5 months now for Entertainment Biz & Events....plus improving my skills in photography. I have no regret to step out from hotel industry as I can always go back as and when I wanted to...but this..what I'm currently doing is more fun and challenging! Helping out 16 outlets i.e cafes, lounge, fun pub & bistro....on marketing and events, working in masculine world and I'm the youngest among all the head department. Of course my responsibilities are more, working my ass off through out the weeks to come up with promotions and events...longer hour and on standby mode (I'm not complaining though coz I only worked 5 days a week and have more time with my son over the weekend...ehehehe). Will upload more photos on when, where and what I've been doing for the past 6 months...oh gosssssh punya la banyak want to update that :p

I always looking foward for Thursday as my mom would normally go to Donggongon Tamu and buy "butod" or sago worm. "Butod" taste really good if you just boiled it in plain water and then suck the juice out of the worm. Sounds yucky I know...but it's a good stuff!!! Grandma's "Butod" rice porridge is the best...gossh I'm hungry already LOL...ok lah next time if any of you wanted to try out my grandma's famous "Butod" rice porridge, gimme a buzz ya? hmm...i wonder how is it being down there?

...and i wonder how is it being up there?

I've been working in Hospitality industry since 1998, started as trainee & then assistant bar in 1999-2000...stop working for a while to get my Diploma. By 2003, all I have in mind that time was to work in either restaurant or at the reception in one of the leading resorts in KK, but I got the opportunity to work as coordinator in communications department instead. I have no idea what communications in hotel line does, I was totally blur LOL...anyway...it took me only 5 years to be part of the management team. I work really hard to where I am now...been thru a lot of shit when I was just a coordinator and know exactly how it feel being just a staff... no one notice you or even remember your name. Sad thing was when I did a great job, other people gets the crowning glory..duh! Nevertheless though I'm really piss at this moment because my mind really jammed with my next year marketing budget...(psst dun tell ma bos m blogging LOL) I love what I'm doing despite all the bitterness that I have to swallowed...yeah I complaint a lot about work and stuff but I'm planning to move up further. Probably one day I can do my own stuff that I like...freelance PR consultant maybe and work harder... or marry a rich guy and stop working LOL..my gossh...nah tats so not me! The only thing that I'm passionate more apart from my camera is my job...time to move on..had enough with my current post, I need another step to move up further....wink wink :)
